Darling Diva Polish Hug My Face Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have an absolutely stunning collection from Darling Diva Polish to share with you. The Hug My Face Collection is inspired by the Alien movies, and it is truly spacey and fantastic. I have swatches of 8 of the 10 beauties from the collection for you today. The Hug My Face Collection goes on sale tonight at 7 PM CST in the Darling Diva Polish shop.

Game Over, Man! is a cherry red jelly filled with red and silver holo glitters as well as holo shards. Formula was very nice to work with and the jelly built up nicely to opacity in 2 coats. I love glittery red jellies, and this one is just perfection. The holo shards add a lot of interest to the polish and it just glows. I used thicker topcoat (2 coats) to get a glassy smooth finish.

In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream is a black jelly filled with iridescent green/blue glitters, silver holo microglitter, and holo shards. Formula was very easy to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats. This was another one that I used a thicker topcoat with (2 coats) for a glassy finish. This is the perfect "outer space" polish, I think Carrie really nailed it!

Mother is a soft greyish-white holo with heavy shimmer. Formula is on the thicker side, but easy to work with and I got full coverage in 3 thin coats. This is so delicate and pretty and totally stands out among all of the dark colors of the collection.

Long Live the Queen is a deep teal holo filled with ultra chrome flakies in blue, green, purple, and copper (and more, but those are the most prominent). Formula was very easy to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats. This is so beautiful, but it's really hard to capture the flakies in pictures because the holo sort of takes over.

Bad Ass is a soft black holo. The formula of this polish is absolutely divine, with full coverage in 2 easy coats. This polish reminds of me of the refined holo finish of a-Englands, and I'm going to be begging Carrie to make more like it.

Did IQs Just Drop Sharply While I Was Away? is a black jelly base filled with heavy red shimmer, fine holographic glitter, and violet iridescent flakies. Formula easy to work with despite being packed with flakies, and built up nicely in 3 thin coats. The red shimmer in this polish is absolutely gorgeous and it gives the base a brownish look. This was one of the stand outs in the collection to me because it has so much depth. It's one that needs to be seen in person to be to be truly appreciated.

Xenomorph is a blackened green jelly base filled with blue/green flakies, iridescent glitters, and color shifting microglitters. Formula was nice to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats. The blue/green flakies popped really nicely against the base, but the color shifting microglitters didn't pop as much as I expected. You can catch them in the light when you move your fingers around.

A-ffirmative is a bright, icy blue linear holo with pink shimmer. Formula was easy to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. The pink shimmer was very camera shy, but it's a lovely contrast to the blue. I adore this shade of blue so much and it's another patch of brightness in this mostly dark collection.
