Best of Paint All the Nails

*Some Press Samples Included*

Hi everyone! This is a bittersweet post because it will be the very last link-up for Paint All the Nails. I've so enjoyed the time that I've spent with these lovely ladies sharing our nail art, and boy have we as a group posted some glorious manis! For our last link-up, we decided to do a "best of" post, and each of us chose a mani done in a previous link-up to be inspired by. Let's check out my inspiration!

Today's mani was inspired by the lovely Emily of Very Emily. I have always admired Emily's ability to make a simple mani so breathtaking, and that's exactly what she did with this inspiration mani. It utilizes one of my very favorite nail art techniques, dry brush, and the colors are perfect for Christmas as well!. For this mani, I started with a base of Pretty Serious Presence (white). Then I dry brushed (using the polishes' own brushes) using Lemming Lacquer Baron Cimitiere (red), Ever After Polish Burdened With Glorious Purpose (green), and KBShimmer Whiskey Business (gold). On my accent nails, I used Burdened With Glorious Purpose and then used a dotting tool to place a dot of Whisky Business at the base of the nail. There you have it, a simple yet festive holiday mani! I went a little more heavy on the dry brush than Emily did, but I really loved the end result.

Be sure to check out what the other ladies did for the link-up! Thanks for looking everyone!
